The final round of the BRCA 1/12th scale nationals took place at the Chesterfield club which is considered by many the home of 1/12th racing in the UK. As with the previous five rounds the BRCA put on a fantastic event which was fully booked. With the modified championship already decided Olly Jefferies was using the final round to gain more experience with the X12 and try improve his set up for the European Championship which is being held in Italy this weekend. The track layout was demanding and would provide a real challenge for the 110 drivers booked in for event and would certainly test the limits of the cars and equipment.

Qualifying started out well with Olly taking the fastest time in round one by over a lap to second place. Olly continued to build on this and improve his car throughout the day to eventually take TQ after the four rounds of qualifying with Adam Walker Catchpole lining up in second place and Chris Kerswell in third.

The modified A final would be the final race of the day and also the 2013/2014 championship. From the buzzer Olly pulled away and led from start to finish to end his season the best way possible. Adam walker Catchpole would finish in second with Mark Stiles rounding off the podium in third. Out of the six round championship Olly has TQ and won all six and led every lap of the A finals

The 1/12th national series this season has seen an increase in entries compared to previous seasons with every race being fully sold out which is a credit to all envolved in organising the events.
